Raytheon BBN Awarded $2.5 million for Natural Language Research

One of the great things about being part of Raytheon BBN Technologies is the incredible technology that we get from BBN's research labs to use in the AVOKE system.  BBN has a huge research and development program in speech and language technologies.  And they are constantly winning new contracts to push the envelope and develop new capabilities.  Today, the BBN speech and language research team announced a contract to develop new technology that can find and organize metaphors in foreign language text.  The full press release is here:

AVOKE at the CRMXchange Multi-Channel Conference

In case you missed the CRMXchange Multi-Channel Virtual Conference, it was a fantastic event with lots of great participation from attendees and presenters.  The AVOKE session, "A Tale of Two Phone Calls" was a smash hit - after the keynote it had the highest attendance of the entire conference, and received the second highest survey score!
